Courses:

Mount Zion College of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (MZCAME) approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India to conduct Basic Aircraft Maintenance Training under CAR 147 (Basic) in Category B1.1
( Aeroplane Turbine).

ELIGIBILITY:

Passed +2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from any recognized Board or University.

The trainees shall undergo a Medical examination by a Doctor possessing at least an MBBS degree. Candidates shall not have any physical disabilities or colour blindness, which may interfere in discharging the duties as an AME.

Duration:

02 years (4 Semesters)

The course consists of Theoretical and Practical training on 11 Modules applicable to Category B1.1 (Aeroplane Turbine).

PRACTICAL TRAINING:

70% of the Practical training will be conducted by using the in-house Facilities in Workshops, Lab and Learjet /Cessna Aircraft owned by the Institute.

30% of the Practical training will be conducted on actual maintenance environment at Air India Engineering Service Limited (AIESL), Thiruvananthapuram.

POLICY ON SEMESTER EXAMINATION:

After completing each Semester, the students will be allowed to appear for the Examination. The students should have been present for at least 90% of the training period of each Module. To be declared successful in the Semester the candidate must obtain a minimum of 75% in each Module.
